Book Update
To all who still, occassionally, stop by, I want you to know that, as I write this I'm holding a draft of the manuscript. The working title is "Letters to Madison." I've written about 60'000 words and I've got about 5000 more to go before it's done. When it's finally in print I'll post a notice here.
After four years, it's gotten easier but we don't miss her any less. Madison has been a joy and we feel Michelle in her smile and that makes the parting just a little easier.

I am looking forward to reading it when it's done.
John,
I think it's amazing that you have written a book! I still check this website after 4 years and I can't wait to read the book!
people are reading - keep writing and sharing stories of michelle. she lives on in you.
John,
I occasionally still stop by your sites to see if you've written anything new. I can't wait to read the book. I've been reading your stuff since 2004. Your strength and the strength of your family amazes me. You will never forget ... but don't let anyone else ever forget either.
John -
It's been too long. I wanted let you and your family know that my wife, Carla, and I had a baby girl last Friday (8-8-08) and her name is Liliana Michelle Olson. I think I may have an old email address. Please give me a call when you have moment, I would love to talk to you (920) 385-1634 or nathanpolson@yahoo.com. I can't wait to read the book - great title.

John,
I am so glad you continue to write, I check often to see if you have posted anything new. Please know how much people still think of Michelle, as well as you and your family. You are still in my prayers.
I don't personally know your family. I live in Milwaukee and was so touched by your family and what you have been through. I saw the picture in the Journal this past weekend with your wife and granddaughter and remembered you had a website. I cannot wait to read your book.
John and Lori, Just want you to know I think of Michelle and the loss your family carries with you is often on my mind. I remember on her birthday as well as today. God bless all of you until the time we all get to see our loved ones again! HUGS! Kathy Gill
Hello John,
I thought of you all this April. I was holding my new baby girl when I heard the news of your loss back in 2004. My little girl is five now. I know this life is a journey and many have completed their walk. I am sure that Michelle will be waiting to see you all again some day, like the song says,
And I'll be waiting on the far side banks of Jordan
I'll be waiting drawing pictures in the sand
And when I see you coming I will rise up with the shout
And come running through he shallow waters reaching for your hand.
God Bless you
